Early 20th Century Louis Vuitton Steamer Trunk in LV Monogram leather with impressed all brass hardware and leather handles.

We have not had this verified, but we believe that the trunk originially belonged to American heiress and socialite, Ethel Du Pont Roosevelt-Warren. The name on the trunk reads, "Mrs. Benjamin S. Warren" and WARREN. Through our research, we have discovered that Mrs. Benjamin S. Warren was the first wife of Franklin D. Roosevelt Jr.. The two were married in 1937 while Franklyn D. Rossevelt was the sitting President of the United States.
Condition:
Excellent condition. Fabric lining shows some discoloration due to age but otherwise in excellent condition.
